WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: SNOW

Living in Southern California, the land where it's almost always warm, I dream of a snow filled winter. I'm sure I would feel differently if I actually lived in that climate but lets just pretend it's as magical as it looks...

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: NORWAY

Ever since I traveled to Austria a few years ago I have a mild obsession with Europe. Maybe a little more than mild. Since then, I was lucky enough to get to spend a short time in Switzerland but no where near long enough. Next on my list: Norway. The beautiful countrysides and being on the water, along with the rustic buildings, are enough to convince me that I will love it.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: VINTAGE CAMPERS PART 2

I know I posted campers before, but I really have an obsession here people so please just go along with it. I want to drive cross country and stop in fields and set up a picnic table under the awning of my camper. It just needs to happen.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY!: AUSTIN, TX

I have been thinking a lot about moving to Austin, Tx next year. With a huge music, art, and food scene there I feel like i'd be crazy not to. I've heard, seen, and read it's the place to be. "as long as life is short it is long" - Lauren Haworth ha!

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: ACE HOTEL PALM SPRINGS

I think since I know Summer is coming to an end, I'm really jonesing for one last carefree weekend where I can lounge by a pool all day long. The ACE hotel in Palm Springs is literally the perfect place for this. Located in California's Mohave Desert and just south of Palm Springs downtown area, it's the ideal getaway spot if you're looking to relax for couple days. It has a retro vibe and the desert landscape is the perfect background. They converted an old Denny's restaurant into a cool diner called King's Highway, but it's not your average greasy diner food, they use fresh ingredients that they get locally. It's right next to the hotel so they also offer room service too. My favorite part? Every Monday they have BINGO. And it's not boring old lady BINGO. It's hosted by flamboyant Palm Springs personality Linda Gerard who sings and charms her way through the restaurant while calling numbers. You really have to experience it. Just a few other mentions, you can also rent scooters and take a tour of the city, they offer stone massages and botanical facials, you can get married in their Commune area, they have "grown up" sno-cones, and they have a clubhouse you can rent for any occasion (like just to have a taco bar). So all in all, I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: NEW YORK CITY

New York City. For some they say 'it's too busy, too crowded'. And while yes New York City is known for it's energy it is also known for being the best city in the world. I've been a few times and every time it's just as exciting as the last. And who doesn't think of all the amazing films that have been filmed there that you secretly wish were your life?- long strolls in central park, sitting in your cozy (albeit tiny) apartment, seeing the Empire State building- and ladies...IT'S THE FASHION CAPITOL OF THE WORLD.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: MADONNA INN

This past weekend I had the pleasure of staying at the MADONNA INN. It wasn't my first time but it's one of my favorite places to stay, ever. It's located just off the 101 freeway in San Luis Obispo and it has been one of California's landmark destinations for the past 50 years. There are 110 rooms and each one has it's own unique theme. Some of the rooms feature waterfalls and rock showers, need I say more? Not only are the rooms out of this world but the bathrooms are spectacular. Oh, and did I mention that the food is incredible as well? This place really has it figured out. I highly recommend everyone spending at least one night here in their lifetime, definitely a must see.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: MY TRIP TO ITALY

History. Food. Beautiful People. The Pope. these are just a few words that come to mind when you think of Italy! I was very blessed to make my way to Rome-then Capri- in April of this year to experience these very things. We spent 5 days in Rome, then took a train, then boat to the Island of Capri for 4 days. The experience was a whirl wind! I can't put into words all the amazing things Italy has to offer; hopefully one day everyone reading this post will put 'a trip to Italy' on their bucket list...you will never regret it!
