WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: MADONNA INN

This past weekend I had the pleasure of staying at the MADONNA INN. It wasn't my first time but it's one of my favorite places to stay, ever. It's located just off the 101 freeway in San Luis Obispo and it has been one of California's landmark destinations for the past 50 years. There are 110 rooms and each one has it's own unique theme. Some of the rooms feature waterfalls and rock showers, need I say more? Not only are the rooms out of this world but the bathrooms are spectacular. Oh, and did I mention that the food is incredible as well? This place really has it figured out. I highly recommend everyone spending at least one night here in their lifetime, definitely a must see.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: MY TRIP TO ITALY

History. Food. Beautiful People. The Pope. these are just a few words that come to mind when you think of Italy! I was very blessed to make my way to Rome-then Capri- in April of this year to experience these very things. We spent 5 days in Rome, then took a train, then boat to the Island of Capri for 4 days. The experience was a whirl wind! I can't put into words all the amazing things Italy has to offer; hopefully one day everyone reading this post will put 'a trip to Italy' on their bucket list...you will never regret it!

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: TREEHOTEL IN SWEDEN

When I think about my ideal travel destination, it's generally in a tree. Honestly. There are so many great Tree Hotels that I NEED to experience. This particular one is called the TREEHOTEL and it's located in Sweden. You can stay in one of its many "treerooms" which are contemporary habitats in the middle of unspoiled nature. It's located near the Lule river in a village that is populated by only about 600 people. It's just a short stroll through the forest to reach restaurants and shops. Sounds just about perfect if you ask me.
