60's STYLE

There is just something about the 60's and the way the ladies and gentleman presented themselves that I just love. Cat eyeliner for the ladies, with shift dresses on- for men glasses and fitted suits. I'm glad the 60's era has such a huge inspiration on fashion today--examples below.

AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHER: SLIM AARONS

I recently came across some gorgeous photos and immediately did some research to find out more about this gentleman. Apparently I'm way late in the game on finding out about him (but better late than never, right?), his name is Slim Aarons. He was a well noted American photographer throughout the 50's, 60's and 70's. He was known for "photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places" and that is exactly what is depicted in his photos.
