TRANSIENCE MIRRORS

I came across these mirrors on Matter and they instantly caught my eye. "Transience" are a series of geometric mirrors that David Derksen and and Lex Pott have oxidized using sulfer for varying lengths of time. Depending of the amount of time the sulfer is left on the mirror determines the color. The longer it is left on the darker it becomes. The result is absolutely stunning and an absolute work of art.
