MACRAME

Macrame has really been on my mind lately. It started when I bought an amazing pink hammock chair from an antique store and then progressed when I saw a macrame plant hanger at a garden shop. It's just so lovely. And yes it does remind me of my grandmas house when I was a kid. It was a craft that was very popular in the 70's. It uses a variety of twine tied in knots to make patterns. It was crafted by sailors to decorate anything from knife handles to bottles to parts of ships. The possibilities are almost endless with macrame....
