Graphic novels aren't as nerdy as people think they are! it's hip and cool damn it!
I like to look at cool pictures whilst I'm reading... sue me. THIS GUY Adrian Tomine rules! Adrian's work is simple, and visually consistent, which when you see his images you can connect the two. My personal favorite book by him is "shortcomings" about the shortcomings we face as young adults. If this guy doesn't suit your fancy visually, there are SO MANY others artist to check out! Graphic novels are fun! NERDS NO MORE!!!!
